Purpose of this privacy policy
This privacy policy aims to inform you clearly and transparently about how WandeRun collects, uses, retains and protects your personal data when you browse our website, join our waitlist, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.
WandeRun pays particular attention to protecting your privacy and undertakes to process your data in accordance with the applicable regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).
The WandeRun website is intended primarily for an adult audience and is not aimed at children.
We invite you to read this policy carefully in order to understand what information we collect, why we use it and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your data?
The controller of the personal data collected through the website is:
WANDER RUN, a French société par actions simplifiée (SAS) with share capital of €10,000, registered office at 5 avenue Shakespeare, 06000 Nice, France, registered with the Nice Trade and Companies Register under number 995 026 135.
Email address: contact@wanderun.fr
What data do we collect?
To date, WandeRun only collects the information required to manage its waitlist, its newsletter and the requests sent through the website.
When you join our waitlist or subscribe to our newsletter, we may collect:
- your email address;
- the date and time of your sign-up;
- information relating to your consent.
When you contact us, we may also retain the information you voluntarily send us in order to respond to your request.
While you browse, our audience measurement tool automatically collects aggregated technical data: pages viewed, referring site, country, device type, operating system and browser used. This data is not linked to your identity and does not allow you to be tracked from one website to another.
Your IP address is processed transiently by our host and by our audience measurement tool, and is not retained for tracking purposes.
WandeRun does not currently collect any data relating to a booking, an identity document, a trip, a sports performance or your health.
Why do we collect your data?
The information collected allows us to:
- record your sign-up to the WandeRun waitlist;
- inform you about the launch of WandeRun;
- present the brand's future destinations and experiences;
- inform you when bookings open, once commercial activity has started;
- send you the WandeRun newsletter and news;
- invite you to take part in questionnaires, surveys, events or initiatives related to the development of the brand;
- better understand the expectations of our future community;
- respond to the requests you send us;
- improve the content and the operation of the website.
WandeRun does not use your data for purposes incompatible with those set out in this policy.
Your personal data is neither sold nor rented to third parties.
Why do we ask for your consent?
Joining our waitlist or subscribing to our newsletter is entirely voluntary. It is based on your consent, which is the legal basis for this processing.
When you enter your email address and submit the sign-up form, you agree to receive the communications corresponding to the choices presented to you.
These communications may relate to:
- the launch of WandeRun;
- future destinations;
- the experiences and trips being prepared;
- the opening of bookings;
- the brand's news;
- community events and initiatives;
- offers or collaborations likely to interest the WandeRun community.
Where your consent is required, it is obtained through a positive action, for example by ticking an unticked box or by explicitly confirming your sign-up.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, without having to give a reason.
Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before you unsubscribed.
How long do we keep your data?
The data used to manage the waitlist and to send the newsletter is kept for as long as you remain subscribed.
You can unsubscribe at any time:
- by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email;
- or by contacting us at: dpo@wanderun.fr.
Your request will be handled as soon as possible.
Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be removed from the mailing list.
Limited information may be kept on a suppression list in order to respect your choice and to prevent you from being added to our communications again without your consent.
In the absence of prolonged interaction, WandeRun may delete your data or ask you to confirm that you wish to continue receiving its communications.
Who do we share your data with?
Your data is only accessible to:
- authorised people within WandeRun;
- the service providers required to operate and host the website;
- the service providers used to manage the forms, the waitlist and the sending of newsletters;
- the service providers responsible for the maintenance, the security or the audience measurement of the website.
These service providers act solely within the scope of the services they provide to WandeRun and are required to comply with the applicable personal data protection rules.
WandeRun does not pass your data on to commercial partners so that they can send you their own communications without your consent.
Your data may however be disclosed where a legal or regulatory obligation requires it, or where such disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Is your data sent abroad?
Some technical service providers may be established in, or may process data outside, the European Union or the European Economic Area.
Where data is transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area, WandeRun ensures that the transfer is governed by a mechanism recognised under the applicable regulations.

Cookies and audience measurement
The WandeRun website does not place any cookie on your device: no advertising cookie, no audience measurement cookie and no other tracker.
Website traffic is measured using Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless audience measurement tool. It processes aggregated browsing data (pages viewed, referring site, country, device type, browser) without storing a persistent identifier on your device, without profiling and without tracking you from one website to another.
No advertising or behavioural tracking tool is used on the website.
As no tracker is stored on or read from your device, no cookie consent banner is required.
This section may be updated if new tools requiring cookies or other trackers are added to the website. Where the regulations require it, such tools will only be activated once your consent has been obtained.
Links to third-party websites
The WandeRun website may contain links to websites, social networks, applications or services operated by third parties.
Using these links may allow third parties to collect or process data about you.
WandeRun exercises no control over these services and cannot be held responsible for their privacy practices.
When you leave our website, we encourage you to read the privacy policy of the service concerned.
Complaint to the CNIL
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected or that the processing of your data does not comply with the applicable regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (“CNIL”).
